Kids Sell for Charity at Minden

We headed out to Little India for our Tosai fix. Then on the way home, daddy dropped us off at the Minden Rukun Tetangga as there was a charity event there. The first stall we stopped at was manned by your schoolmate, Gabriel. So you paid for a "lucky pick" from his bin. 

We walked around and also stopped to buy a pack of slime from this little girl who sure could sell her stuff. Our last stop was where you could throw the ping pong balls (bought for a fee) into an egg tray to score point. The accumulated points would enable you to pick a present.

Pizza and Pasta Night

We planned to cook for dinner instead of going out. And coincidentally, Audrey came back with Ah Ma to play with Mei-mei after Ah Ma attended her graduation and concert ceremony. 

So everyone got to make their own pizza:

Birthday Party in School

This year you had requested to have a birthday party in school.So early that morning, we brought with us the cupcakes and party packs. I tell you picking a Monday was the wrong thing as you had to go to the Multi-Purpose Hall instead of directly to your classroom. 

We could not locate Miss Beatrice, your homeroom teacher. Fortunately, we spotted Madam Julia who told us that we could leave the items in the hall and she will have other teachers to help Miss Beatrice move them to the teacher's room or your classroom.

Happy Birthday to Our Princess

Happy 7th Birthday to our little sunshine. 

There are days when you make us laugh with your silly antics, make us exasperated with your cheeky behaviour, get us all so tired with your incessant chatter and make our hearts burst with love with your small gestures.

Whatever it is that you make us feel, we are forever grateful for having you in our lives.

Keep on smiling and bringing sunshine into everyone's lives. 

We all love you to the moon and back.

Evelyn's 7th Birthday Party at Home

We did not know what to order for your birthday party. In the end, we decided on getting most of the food from the Golf Club. Not a bad choice. Also some belacan chicken from another stall and roast pork by Ah Ma. The club restaurant arranged the food nicely on the trays we had given them:

Time to Bid Farewell

After so many years of teaching the both of you, Miss Lim had to bid you farewell as she was not feeling well and was unable to cope with teaching extra lessons on top of her school work. 

She had started teaching the both of you since you were in pre-school. 

Evan was especially affected by her departure. But maybe when she gets better, she will be able to return to teaching the both of you. 

I'm glad that the both of you made/found something to give her as a remembrance to the two rascals she had to teach twice a week, Hope that she gets well soon.
