Back Home Again

This must be the longest that you have stayed in KL before making a trip back to Penang. It was a good thing that we booked Batik Air this time. No delays and there was bad weather as you arrived in Penang. Pity that the flight was not full, so that means there is no reason for them to increase flights for you. 

Of course, you're hungry. I had reminded you to eat something at the Subang Airport.. and what did you eat? A Gardenia bun!! 

Just your luck to land on a Friday during prayer times. It took a little longer than usual to reach home. But you finally got to enjoy your curry mee from First Genting. (you had placed that order in advance. Ah Ma had forgotten to buy for you, so daddy and I had to go get it before we had our lunch and head to the airport to pick you)

Still so Playful

While daddy is away in Indonesia, I have a new bed mate "Miss Blanket-conda". Tonight we had some fun, as you did not want to read not play online games with your friends. Instead after reading a little and watching Netflix, you decided to play on the bed. You put out the blanket and said "I'm a burrito and I'm the meat stuffing and Hooga (pillow) is the mozzarella cheese". 

Then you asked me to roll you up tightly and even tucking in the side so that you are secure inside the blanket.

Even sent a photo of you to daddy and then a voice message declaring yourself to be a burrito. 

First Day of Secondary School

Such a cute pose. Just before packing into the car and heading to school. You look so grown up in this photo.. our princess. 

Missing Tooth

The tooth that has been a pain for you for quite a few weeks has finally fallen off. While you already know "who" the tooth fairy is, you still told me to give you the money.. sigh.. so honest!

So no need for me to wait for you to sleep (your sleeping time is 11pm.. waaay past MY bedtime) to replace the tooth with the moolah, we just directly put the tooth into the "tooth keepsake" album. One more to go and you would have replaced all your milk teeth. 

Secondary Orientation Day

Today is orientation day. So we waited for daddy to come home, then we headed out to have lunch before going straight to school. By 11.30, you were all dressed up in your new school uniform. 

It was a Friday and parking was so difficult to come across in town. We finally parked at the expensive parking lot and had lunch at Two Frenchies:

Then we went to school. Arrived with a few minutes to spare. Got a seat and soon the briefing started. 

It was just a little over 2 hours. Halfway through the students headed to their homeroom to be further briefed by their homeroom teachers while the parents stayed at the MPH.
