2025 Ballet Performance

We had to drop you off at the Loft 39 at 12.45pm. But with the crazy traffic, you only arrived at nearly 1.30pm. Nothing to worry about.. it was just to have your make up done. 

Daddy and Ko-ko dropped me off later at around 4.45pm. There was a long queue; waiting to enter the stage area and waiting to register. Finally made my way in at 5pm. 

There were so many dancer seated on the floor, but I think I saw you.. you were so made up, I could not be sure it was you. 

So I randomly snapped photos of who I though was you.. luckily your mummy could still recognize her child *grin*

After the first session, you found me and took this photo of you.. see? Told you that your make up was so scary.. haha.. 

When the show finally finished, we headed off to have dinner with the family in Kirishima.

Karate Brown 2 Test

It was an early day for us. Exam day. Luckily the location is so near to the house, we were there in less than 10 minutes. Daddy didn't play golf today. So we woke up, had breakfast, changed then woke him up to drop us at the Dewan Silat. 
We waited a little after arriving and soon you were called to take your spots for the exams. Then it was time to go into the hall for your turn to be examined. Your group was the second group for the day. You were to do the Kata.

Then you were told to put on your gloves, pick a partner about your height and start sparring:

Called daddy to say that we were done. He picked us up and we headed to Chowrasta Market to eat breakfast. We also bought lunch for the rest of the family.

Later that day, when we picked you up from ballet lessons, I received a message that you had passed the test. You were 1 of the 8 who passed. 19 of you took the test. Good job, Evelyn. We're proud of you. 

Celebratory Dinner

Ah Kong had the house signed over to daddy's name. And in celebration of this, we decided to head over to Firewood to have some steaks (without daddy having to cook them). 

We had planned to celebrate a couple of weeks ago. But on the eve of the planned day, Mei-mei came down with a high fever. And the following week had Ko-ko busy volunteering at the Science Fair. 

At long last, we made it! We had to have dinner on a Friday as Ko-ko was busy over the weekend with a programming competition. 

Our reservation was at 8pm. We arrived at a quarter to 8 and our table was ready for us. There was a function around that area and daddy had to park really far (Beach Street Foodcourt's carpark!!).

We ordered quite a lot of food and the waiter came back to suggest we drop a couple of the orders. Which was a good thing, as we were stuffed at the end of the day.

After dinner, daddy and Ko-ko decided to walk to the car (we were toying with the idea of calling a Grab to the carpark!) only for them to realise when they reached the car that the TouchNGo card was with me at the restaurant. So they had to walk back to get the card and go back to the carpark.

What an evening. Delicious dinner with a funny ending.

First day of work

This time is a "paid" job. So Project Rock decided to hire you, but in the Gurney Plaza outlet as the Bayana outlet has enough permanent staff. While you had mentioned that you would prefer to work the first shift (10am to 4pm), the manager asked that you come in this once so that he can show you how to close up. 

You finally left Gurney Plaza at nearly 10.30pm. I guess some briefing and other work is needed before closing up. 

Christmas Tree for 2025

You sent me a video on Instagram to remind me that it was time to put up our Christmas tree. So today, daddy brought up the tree and the 3 of us set it up. Ko-ko was away at the Penang Science Fair volunteering.

After setting up the tree, I put on the lights and then we left the tree as it is as we thought that Ko-ko may want to help decorate the tree.

By the time he got back, he was dead tired. Surprisingly you were fine, as you also had extra Karate lessons. So you decided on the color theme this year: Silver (or white) and blue.

Interview Session

You applied for a job in Project Rock when you found out that they were opening a new branch in Bayana (Bayan Lepas). They asked for you to go in for an interview in Gurney Plaza. As it was a Sunday, daddy and I decided to drive you there. 

What do we do while waiting for you? We hopped over to the Tree Bar for some drinks and snacks. Your interview finished up quickly and so you joined us for a drink before heading home:
