Missing Tooth

The tooth that has been a pain for you for quite a few weeks has finally fallen off. While you already know "who" the tooth fairy is, you still told me to give you the money.. sigh.. so honest!

So no need for me to wait for you to sleep (your sleeping time is 11pm.. waaay past MY bedtime) to replace the tooth with the moolah, we just directly put the tooth into the "tooth keepsake" album. One more to go and you would have replaced all your milk teeth. 

Lost Tooth

One of the last few teeth to be replaced by an adult tooth. Despite knowing that I'm the "Tooth Fairy" you still looked for the bag to put in your tooth before going to sleep.

Yesterday night before bed, you asked me to help you pull out your tooth which was shaky and bleeding the whole day. But when I tried, it was not easy as your tooth was so tiny! Daddy offered to help, by using the pliers.. but you said "NO!!!"

So today, you were just sitting next to me when you suddenly exclaimed "My tooth fell off!". 

Happiness as that means the Tooth Fairy will be visiting tonight. 

Missing Tooth

This top right tooth has been giving you problems for a while: you cannot eat anything harder. And it has been bleeding for the past few day when you were brushing your teeth too. I offered to tie your tooth to a string and the other end to the door and then slam the door. But you didn't want to take up my offer. 

So it finally fell off today. Well, technically not fell off on its own. You said that you yanked it off. 

Tonight I will be on tooth fairy duty. It's a good thing that you are sleeping in my room tonight, so it is easier for me to perform my duty. *grin*

Oh.. Bou Geh again

The plan was to have a haircut, then have a (long overdue) photograph taken to be submitted to the school and then remove your tooth. 

Well, noooOooo.... your tooth couldn't wait any longer so it jumped queue in the sequence falling off before we even headed out for the haircut. Oh well.. not everything goes as planned. 

So you smiled without showing your teeth for the school photograph. 

At home, I tried to get you to show me your toothless smile, but initially only got this:

I think the other front tooth will be falling off soon.

Tooth fairy duty tonight. Someone had told you there was no such thing as a tooth fairy. You kept asking me if I was the tooth fairy. I didn't give you an answer, but you were happy enough to receive the RM2 from the "tooth fairy" whoever that may be. 

Little Toughie and Her 3rd Tooth

The tooth fairy came to the house yesterday night again. The third tooth finally fell off after so many weeks of hanging on. Daddy helped you remove it.
As with the last time, it was easy to get you to sleep. And you kept asking us to sleep so that the tooth fairy could come.
You woke up this morning and tried to search for the money, but the blur tooth fairy apparently stashed the pouch into your pillow case instead of under your pillow. Oops.. luckily daddy helped you find it. Then you came down to proudly show me your money. Then you asked me why the tooth fairy only gave you RM2. You seemed to think she gave you RM3 the last time... Anyway, you then searched for your purse to keep the money with the rest of your cash.

** Looks like #4 will be falling off soon. Do we need to adjust the tooth fairy rates for inflation?
