Day 11: Day at the Melbourne Aquarium

We woke up earlier to try to get an early start to get to the aquarium. Yup, today is special time for you kiddies: Day out at the SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium. 

Ate our breakfast, then hopped into the car to park at The Glen. From there, we got a little lost trying to get out of The Glen as we wanted to take the train to the city center. One long train ride later, we were at Flinders Street station. A short walk later, we reached the aquarium.

Best part is getting to touch some of the sea animals.

We were too hungry so we headed to the Croc Cafe to get lunch:

The final exhibit is the penguin. Ko-ko managed to get a picture of the penguin with their egg:

After the aquarium, we headed to Bourke Street to look at the Christmas windows at Myer. The walk to rather tiring.

On the way back, we hopped onto a tram. Look at Mei-mei's sad face. She must be too tired.

And we finally got to Flinder's Street station and hopped onto our train. Everyone looks so tired:

Another event that evening was dinner with the Ban clan. We went to All People Chinese Restaurant where we were to celebrate Chek Kong and Chim Poh's wedding anniversary.

After dinner, we headed to Uncle Peter and Aunty Fiona's house which was just a couple of streets away for round two of drinks for the men:

As the two men had exceeded the alcohol intake, mummy drove us back (slowly) to Uncle Chee Meng's house. Phew.. we arrived home safely *grin*
