It's an exciting day for us. Time to move out from The Square hotel to our next home in Europe: The Regal Princess.
Woke up earlier as usual to have our breakfast and then back to the room to get ready, and pack up. Then we headed to the lobby to check out and had them help to call for a taxi to bring us to Oceankaj where we were to board the ship. It was a short ride to the cruise terminal where we were supposed to be able to board at a later time, but to our surprise, we were checked in and allowed to board.
Then we were notified that our rooms would most likely not be ready yet but we headed to our room to have a look after one of the stewards explained that we could drop our things in the room. We got to meet our room steward, James. He was a very friendly person from the Philippines.
Our home for the next 2 weeks
Little closet to hang up all our stuff
All our welcome documents were ready
We all got our medallion which would be our locator, door key, "credit card" during our stay on the ship
Aww... my two kiddies looking all excited on the sofa
One of the many useful screens found aboard the ship
After that we went to Ah Kong and Ah Ma's room and headed to the top deck of the ship to have lunch. Here is Mei-mei checking out the Skywalk:
Posing for a wefie:
Checking out the games
Checking out the exercise equipment
And most importantly, checking out the food:
Pizza at Prego Pizzeria
Oh.. this is sold here too!!
After lunch, we headed to the Camp Discovery: The Treehouse which was what Mei-mei was looking forward to. Here she is checking out the games:We had a rest and then headed out to wait for the ship to leave the port. It took a long time and it was getting too cold. So we headed back to the rooms to get our jackets.
Dinner was at our dining room, the Allegro. And that night we were introduced to our amazing waiters, Alvin and Rommel.
