You had asked to go to the cinemas to watch Hoppers. So today, Ah Kong dropped us off at Queensbay Mall after music lessons. We shopped a little, ate lunch, then headed to the cinema:

Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle
It has finally arrived in Malaysia. We also had to wait a little more as it was impossible to get a good seat in the TGV IMAX cinema.
Today is D-Day. I had bought the tickets one week in advance. We picked you up from school and headed straight to Gurney Paragon. We had a light snack. Headed to the cinema floor and picked up drinks and popcorn to enjoy in the move.

Movie Time
We took a day off earlier than the shut down to spend some time with you kids as we had not taken a day off the whole school holidays. Movies and a little Christmas dinner shopping was planned. Since the movie to watch was "Rogue One: A Star Wars Movie" which would not have suited you, I booked tickets for "Sing" for you and me while Ko-ko watched with daddy.
Brunch was a yummy quick lunch in Mandarin Cafe followed by a quick drop by Citibank and then we headed to Gurney Plaza.
Here are some pictures of you all posing with the props before movie time:
You said I did not take a picture of you with the WHOLE prop.. so have to take another picture:
Tried to take a picture for the both of you while daddy queued to buy water, but could only take of Ko-ko as you were too short.
Had to wait for daddy to carry you so that I can take a picture with the both of you:
As usual halfway through the movie, you complained and said that you wanted to go home. But after some persuasion, you stayed and loved the ending. You were dancing to the songs being sung in the finale.
Before going home, we quickly stopped by Cold Storage to pick up some stuff which daddy needed to cook our Christmas eve dinner.

Movie Day: Kung Fu Panda 3
While we enjoyed the movie, daddy also enjoyed himself with a massage. So for the first time, mummy went to the movies alone with the both of you. Ko-ko as usual was well behaved and enjoyed his popcorn and movie while you could not sit still throughout the movie, ending up on my lap halfway through the movie.
Not a bad day as everyone did something they enjoyed.

To The Movies...
Saturday was the first day of your 2 week school holiday. Of course you knew that you were on holiday. You kept telling me "Mummy, I have no school for 14 days".
So on Monday, daddy checked his calendar and I checked the cinema for movie listing and found that there was ample seats for Kung Fu Panda 2. So I booked the 3 tickets and we took the afternoon half off to spend some time with you, especially since you seemed to be having separation anxiety (yup.. you cried when we left for work in the morning!)
You were grinning from ear to ear when we arrived home and after getting you dresses, we headed to Gurney Plaza. We had lunch in Chicago Rib House (it was a rather long wait, but good thing we had ample time before the movie started). Then we picked up the ticket and soon it was time to watch Kung Fu Panda 2.

You were quite well behaved throughout the movie, but as usual towards the end of the movie started to get fidgety and asked me what the time was and when the movie was going to end.
And the one part which you remember most from the movie this time was when Po caught the cannon and threw it back at Lord Shen's ship. Daddy even heard you going "Poom" when you knew the cannon was going to hit the ship. You even laughed gleefully when it really hit the ship!
We hoped that spending the day with you would make you not miss us so much when we went to work the next day. It didn't really work.. :( What next?

Movie Day
We'd seen the trailer of the movie when we went to watch Rango. And yes, I did not mention Rango. We brought you to watch the movie as it was the school holidays and you did not have any activities at all as you could not go swimming with your cough. Dr Khaw had advised no swimming for 3 months.
So we brought you to watch Rango. And would you believe it? By the time it was our turn to buy the tickets the only available seats were the front row for GSC in Gurney Plaza. So we did not want the seats and headed to 1st Avenue to try out luck in TGV. Well we were in luck and got to watch the movie in TGV and had a large choice of seats to pick from.
This round, we had the free ticket for a child in TGV, but daddy said that he preferred to watch in GSC, so we bought the tickets online yesterday (there were loads of seats available then..) and we watched Rio:
Picture credits It was a good thing we decided to buy the tickets online. The cinema was full. I guess with it being a weekend, there were lots of families out to watch a movie with their children. I know for sure that you enjoyed the show, you were laughing loudly at the hilarious parts of the movie.. and so did daddy!!!
