Merdeka Day Celebration
You told me on Wednesday that you had to wear your Indian costume to school on Friday for the "Malaysia flag day". (Merdeka celebration)
Yesterday night when I was getting your costume, daddy asked you why you are wearing "In du ren" clothes when you are "Hwa ren". You stopped to think for a while and replied "Mrs. Teoh asked me to wrar In Du ren". Oops... can't fight with that *grin*

Birthday for Evelyn Bear
On Thursday, you decided that it was your pink bear-bear's (named Evelyn) birthday. You bugged me to buy her a cake.
Yesterday at Queensbay , we were supposed to buy a cake but in the end were too tired to search.
So today after lunch we stopped by Mon Delice to order the flavour of your cake and to pick up a cake for Evelyn Bear.
So... ta-da... another birthday celebration:

Evelyn's Tiara
Mummy helped me to pick this when we went to Toy's R Us. My lucky Ko-ko got to pick a new toy gun.
Do you like my new ti-ah-rah? It has a light which blinks. It also comes with a amulet like my favourite Princess Sofia and also earrings. I don't need to have hiles in my ears like mummy. They can clip on my ears. It's abit painful when I put them on. But don't you think I look so beautiful?

Vomit Virus
Ah Ma had been telling us about children on other classes who were sick but none had been sick in your class. But on last Thursday, your friend Claire vomitted in school. That evening itsslf you caught the bug. *sigh*
Daddy and I were working late and Ah Ma called yo say that you have vomitted several times. By the time we reached home, you were sleeping and you had already vomitted 6 times in the past hour. Quickly packed a bag in case you had to be admitted (you could not even keep down water) and headed to the hospital.
It was a rather long wait and finally we got to see Dr. Mary and you were given suppository to stop the vomitting. And also prescribed potato chips as medicine. Yup... that was to return the salt to your body and also tasted better than the ORS.
You ate the chips feeling a little sad as we ate McDonald's (our very late dinner). But you were still so exhausted you fell asleep quickly after that.
You missed school the next day and took all the medicine for the next few days and seem to be better. We spent the weekend in Ipoh and poor you could not have your fruits, dairy products or anything sweet. Sunday morning you had diarrhea a couple of times but other than that you were fine.
Last night, you asked me "mummy, can I have milk tomorrow?". Caught me by surprise as you never liked to drink much milk, unlike your ko-ko.
Looks like you are back to normal, thank goodness. What a scary experience.

Banana Split
Yesterday mummy gave use ice-cream for dessert. Sshh... don't tell daddy. She said that she will give me if I sat quietly and finished all my rice.
So Ko-ko and I got THREE flavours of ice-cream and sprinkles and banana. Yummy... but in the end mummy ate up the banana in my bowl. I just wanted it because Ko-ko had it.
More Fishies
Since it was quite early and we had seen the simple video in the morning on how to make fishes, we decided to make them last Sunday.
It was a simple craft and Ko-ko joined us, helping you to cut some parts too.
Here's the final outcome and we can obviously guess which fish was made by who. Of course , you both also posed with your creations:

My Family
You found these cardboard cut out of boys and girls and asked if you could have some. Then you took a pencil and drew hair and facial features on them, telling me they are mummy, daddy, Ko-ko and you.
To my surprise you thought to join your family together buy using glue.
The next day you asked for 2 more as you wanted to add Ah Kong and Ah Ma.

Day 4 : Time to Go Home
Mei-mei fell asleep just before we reached the toilet spot. So you could not nap after that. As it was too late and most of the shops in Ipoh were closed, we ate Maggie Mee (much to the delight of the both of you.. ) for our late lunch.
We left the house to have an early dinner with Chim Poh and Chek Kong before heading back to Penang. Again, the traffic back was horrendous! Took us almost 3 hours to reach Penang.
What a tiring trip. But we sure had loads of fun.

Happy Father's Day
I made this card in school and in Friday, Mrs. Teoh let me bring the card back for daddy. I could not wait till Sunday so I quickly gave the card to daddy the moment he came home from gym. He was so happy.
Then he spoilt my card. He thought that I wouldn't notice there was 2 button instead of 3. Luckily he didn't lose the button. I tried to stick it back with Ko-ko's glue but it could not work. Mummy had super sticky oosh oosh glue and now the card is so beautiful... that's what my daddy said about my card.
HAPPY FATHER'S DAY.

Pizza Day
We'd bought a light lunch today after dropping Ko-ko off at school for Wushu. So I decided to top up with pizza since we did not plan to go out in the afternoon.
We went home and you helped me prepare the ingredients for the pizza base.
We left the dough to rise while we went to pick up Ko-ko and also buy a cake for Kakak.
We had our lunch while waiting for the oven to heat up. Then we all made our own pizza. Ko-ko of course, made his with all the different type of cheese we had in the fridge. You on the other took my suggestion to put strawberry jam as you were not a big fan of cheese. But you did ask to add a slice of cheddar in the end.
Remembered to take pictures of you both preparing your pizza but forgot to take a picture of the end result as we were too excited to eat the masterpieces. Yummy...

Tinker Town
What a busy weekend it is for you. Today, we did not get to sleep in again as you and Ian were signed up for Tinker-town at Oenang Science Cluster. What we thought to be a long event turned out to be estimated to be for an hour.
So after dropping you and Ian, daddy, Evelyn and I went to drive around abit and finally decided to park and have a drink at Yin's Pizza while waiting for you both.
Time to Escape
Aunty Amy invited you to join them and some friends to go to Escape at Teluk Bahang. So early yesterday you woke up and got ready and off you went with them to Escape.
It sure was a long day. Aunty amy called to ask if it was ok for you to have dinner with them at Hard Rock Cafe. You told us that you had a good time and ensured that you did not pick something too expensive off the menu (you picked kids fish and chips). We're proud of you for your good behaviour and you also thanked them when they dropped you back home.
Here are some pictures which aunty Amy sent to me of you having fun:
A Fishy Story
Told you to take a nap and after a lot of persuasion / threats you finally fell asleep. I napped with you and shortly after I got up (to clear out your closet) you woke up.
So we proceeded to cut the mouth (which became the tail) and them start to paint.
After dinner, we put on the eye and the tail and ta-da... our fish is done.
