Oh My Boh Geh

Wanted to have a picture of you without your two front teeth. So while waiting for our lunch, I asked you to pose with your missing teeth, which you happily obliged.

That evening, as I was about to post to Instagram your toothless picture, you asked me to take another picture of you showing your FOUR missing teeth. So here is another boh geh picture:

All I Want for Christmas..

.. is my two front teeth...
Yup, halfway through tuition yesterday you came up to show me that your other front tooth has finally fallen off.
So we put your tooth into the little green bag and put it under your pillow. You seem to guess that I'm the tooth fairy, but you're still happy to put the tooth under your pillow since you'd get RM2 for that.
Almost forgot to do my toothfairy duty. Had to run upstairs halfway through breakfast to put in the cash *grin*

Another Lost Tooth

Oh my.. you seem to be losing your teeth so rapidly. This time is was your left lateral incisor. Daddy had to try a few times before it came off. And as you were waiting for the tooth fairy to come, you quickly went to sleep.
I had to make sure that I put the pouch with money properly under your pillow and now into the pillow case like what I did the last time.
And the next day.. we had one happy little girl.

#2 is Finally Extracted

Your tooth was giving you some pain for a while, and yet every time daddy tries to help you pull it off, you said that it hurt. Finally after over a week, daddy managed to extract it yesterday morning easily. Just a little bloody. In fact, the permanent tooth was already growing behind the milk tooth.
Last night, daddy told you to quickly go to sleep so that the tooth fairy can come visit after you had fallen asleep. And that everyone had to be sleeping or else she wouldn't visit. So you kept telling us to go to sleep.
This morning was one of the easiest days for daddy to wake you up. He just had to remind you to check to see what she had given you. And you had the biggest smile when you came down for breakfast.
Had some time to get you to pose with your gift of RM2 from the tooth fairy.

Evelyn's Pearly Whites

Tried really hard to get you to smile.  You were ok before I took out my phone to take a picture.  But once I whip out my phone... you refuse to cooperate!!

A Missing Tooth and A Letter

I got home late as I had exercise at the office on Tuesday. When I reached home, the first thing you said to me was "My tooth dropped in school today". So my next question was "Where's the tooth?". Before you could answer daddy told me not to ask anymore. You had lost your tooth in school.
I got you to tell me what had happened. Daddy also said that he helped you search your schoolbag but could not find it. You were so sad as no tooth = no money from the tooth fairy. So in the end I suggested that you wrote a letter to the tooth fairy and tell her what had happened.
By the time you had dinner and tooth a bath, you were feeling more cheerful. Here you even posed for me to take a close up of your gap:

After I finally got Evelyn to sleep, we went to your room to write your message. You were not sure of what you should write, so I made a few suggestions. Here's what you came up with in the end:

We folded the letter to the tooth fairy and put it in the little pouch we always use to put your tooth in for the fairy. The next morning, the tooth fairy took your letter and still gave you the RM2. Lucky you.

In fact, I "heard" that she had actually found your tooth.. Nope.. it wasn't lost in school (although your map was very detailed on where you sat in your classroom...). It was in another compartment in your schoolbag, not where you thought (and daddy searched).

More Teeth

Last week as I was cleaning your gums, I felt your little teeth on your bottom gums. Yup, your lower inscissors are growing. All of a sudden my little boh geh is sprouting teeth so quickly.
It's a little scary to feed you as I can feel your teeth as you feed. You've nipped me a couple of times but thankfully it wasn't too painful... but that won't stop me from continuing the breastfeeding journey.

Another Missing Tooth

About a week after your tooth fell off (with daddy's help) another fell off (7th September). This time it's the right lateral incisor. You just suddenly showed daddy your tooth. It seems you were "playing" with the tooth and the next thing you know, it's in your hands!
Here's a picture of you taken the next day when we had dinner in Euro-Deli:

Daddy secretly took a video of you eating. It was so hilarious as food kept falling out and you didn't really seem to notice that happening.
