Great Job!

The parents in the Year 6 WhatsApp group were all jittery and eagerly awaiting the results to be sent from the Exam Department. At long last the email arrived at around 10am. My heart was so nervous to open the email.

When I saw your results.. it swelled with pride. Had to interrupt daddy in his meeting to show him your results. Full score for Maths even!

Great job, baby. You did well and we're all proud of you

Cambridge Checkpoint Results

I had forgotten to post about this:

Just as I was about to log into the school SAP (School and Parent) program for Secondary on 18th June, I received an email saying that the Checkpoint results were out. And of course, our dear young man was very quite about it. When I walked into your room to ask, you nonchalantly told me 6-6-5 for Science-Maths-English.

I understand that the English paper was a surprise which you did not know how the format was to be, but you still managed to get a band 5, which is a good result.

So in actual fact the impromptu dinner we had on Saturday was also a celebration of your result.

Good job. We're proud of you.

EYE are over! Woohoo!!!

Today marks the end of the EYE exam week. It was all conducted online and there were moments of "stress" (for mummy) as I face issues to get the stuff printed. Luckily daddy was around the first time and Ko-ko was not having his exams the second time it happened.

Here is the mirror on the table we set up next to the writing table. I was so fearful that my little rampaging bull would knock it over when you got up from your seat.

We ensured that you were both bathed before exams started, so that you would be more alert during the exams. Mei-mei was having a "fashion show", telling me how she'd like her hair tied every day!

Ko-ko had to wear his school uniform for all the exams. (He wore the same shirt for the whole week!!)
Whatever it is, I'm glad the week is over. Here's to looking forward to the summer break!
