Stinky
Got a call yesterday and this was how the conversation went:
Caller: Hi mummy.. it's E.....
Mummy: Who?
Caller: It's me, Stinky
Mummy: *laughing*
And then I'd forgotten why you had called me. I'm sure it's to tell me about something which happened in school. You are so funny, my little Stinky-Poo.

As Halloween was on a weeknight,we decided to have your "room-to-room trick-or-treating" on Sunday. Everyone was already given a "candy pack" and they also got a chance to be scary things:
Ah Ma, the ghost
Ah Kong, the monster
Daddy the skull face
Ko-ko just jump scared you instead. Haha...
Even Kakak got to give you a candy pack
Once you were done, you quickly went downstairs to share your loot with Ah Ma.

Badminton Lessons
You had been bugging me to allow you to attend lessons. So finally last Friday, Ah Kong went to the Sports Club to inquire about the classes. But as the person in charge was not around, you went with them again on Saturday morning to find out more.
That very afternoon, you first lesson started. Ah Kong brought you to the club and waited for you there for the whole two hours. Hopefully, you will enjoy the lessons and not give up so quickly.
Ah Ma has mentioned that she could drop you there as she could hop over to visit Tou-tou while waiting for you.

First Children's Day in Wesley
You came back from school and told me that you wanted to bring fish biscuit for the class party. Somehow, while informing your class teacher about the plans, I ended up agreeing to provide a party pack which the children could bring home.
So here you are packing the items and also a few spare to give to your friends from other classes:
You came back with another party pack which you had exchanged with a friend from Year 2. You seemed to have fun, even volunteering to be covered in tissue paper for the games.
As for K-ko.. such a pity as since he is considered Secondary School, there was no Children's Day celebrations for him. But he was lucky as you bought back some Vitagen which he also got to enjoy.

Journey to Spicy Food
Came home and found that we had gotten a "full moon" package with contained the nasi kunyit with curry chicken. Offered to you, and surprisingly you wanted to eat it. Ah.. it was because it was glutinous rice which was your favourite. We offered to put a little curry and after much persuasion you agreed and was very happy to eat it.
So looks like we need to slowly train you and you will soon be able to enjoy yummy Penang food such as Hokkien Mee and Curry Mee.
*Oh yeah.. we had also started you with Indo Mee goreng too, by putting 1/3 of the chilly sauce.

Crafty Time
On the second day of school in September, you brought back a form to pick the sports, uniform and clubs which were to be held every week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
So we picked Art and Craft Club, Creative Dance Movement Club and Girls' Brigade for you. And this was what you brought back on your second day back to school. So adorable:

Time for Wesley
It's time for you to fully start in Wesley. While you had started 2 days in September for the language assessments, you returned to Rajawali to prepare for the graduation concert. And now that it is over, it's time to return to Wesley fully.
Here are your new shoes which daddy bought. Looks to tiny compared to Ko-ko's shoes:
You returned on Monday with some of your school uniforms. So you got to wear your t-shirt. Just missing your skort. Quickly caught the both of you for a picture in your uniforms before heading to school:

Evelyn's School Graduation and Concert
We cannot imagine it. It's your final year (and day) in Tadika Rajawali. After 4 years.. you are graduating from this school and moving on (a little earlier than your friends).
We woke up early to have breakfast and get ready then sent you all dressed and made up to school. Then we decided to queue (for over an hour) in hopes of getting a nice spot to watch you perform and receive your scroll.
As usual, the teachers did an amazing job with the decorations:The concert started with the usual speeches and then we were in for a surprise. The graduates marching in was a little different this time. Instead of walking in from the back of the Shammah Hall, you all danced in from backstage. So cute. We could see you dancing so enthusiastically. No wonder you said this year was a surprise.
And it's now time for you to get your scroll from Pastor Lydia:
Your picture projected up:
And your class teacher, Miss Varghese announcing the graduate names:
And this was a special surprise for everyone, including the children: Mrs. Sebastian singing the starting part of the song:
6 year old's choir:
We were then treated to performances from the other classes. Your sketch was the second last performance. Here you are, helping the "blind man" to pay his taxes to Zaccheus the tax collector.
You even had a line to speak in the sketch.
And the finale of 5 and 6 year old's singing the choir. We could see you singing so enthusiastically.
I went to pick you up and then we searched for teachers to take pictures with them.
With Miss Varghese
With Miss Beh
With Aunty Multi
With Mrs. Sebastian
With Miss Fong
Took a picture with the props which were prepared by the teachers for the photo booth
The hall leading to your classrooms (5 and 6 years old)
Well, and thus ends one chapter of your schooling life. And time for you to move on. We have been very fortunate that the both of you managed to get a spot in this amazing school. While we will miss sending you to this school and interacting with the teachers, it is time to move on. Here's to new challenges in your new school.

Toothless Tiger
On the day of your birthday, your tooth decided to be too loose. So before the party started, daddy gave your tooth a gentle tug and it came off.
It's so shaky already
Ta-da.. bou geh
And very excitedly, you asked to put the tooth inside the tooth album (you finally got to use it!!). I asked if you wanted to put it under your pillow for the tooth fairy to give you some money, but you didn't want to do it. So we put it into the album and even informed Nat Kor-kor (who gave you this album) that you finally have a tooth to place into the album.
Update: Now you decide that you want to put that tooth under your pillow! Haiyo.. not allowing that. So lucky thing your other tooth is now shaky. You will soon have a new tooth to put under your pillow.

Evelyn's 6th Birthday Party at Home
We usually try to prepare food which you kids like to eat for your birthdays. This year for your 6th birthday party, we prepared local specialties which you prefer to eat. Ah Ma also added to the dishes with her very crispy roast pork.
This year only Audrey and Ko-ko (and your 3 year old Ee-ee) were the children who made it to the party. But we still had fun. Here you are giving instructions for the "Find the Num Noms Treasure Hunt":
Soon it was cake time. Here is your mango flavoured Num Noms cake:
You came along with us and picked the "sparklers" candle:
As it was still early, we allowed you to unwrap all the presents and even picked a few to open and started playing them with Audrey.
